Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using AuraResume. They are written to work broadly across jurisdictions, but they are not a substitute for local mandatory law or legal advice.
If you use AI-powered features, you also acknowledge our Privacy Policy and our in-product AI processing disclosures.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AuraResume, including our website, applications, AI-powered resume tools, billing flows, and related services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use the service only in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our own failure to secure the platform.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with platform security, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or infringing material, use the service to violate another person's rights, or use automated means to scrape or overload the platform without our written permission.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, profile data, and other content you submit. You give us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
5. AI Features
Our service uses third-party AI providers to generate suggestions, tailored resumes, cover letters, and related outputs. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You remain responsible for reviewing all outputs before relying on them or sharing them with employers or third parties.
6. Billing, Subscriptions, and Resume Packs
Paid plans, subscriptions, and resume packs are governed by the pricing and billing terms presented at checkout. Resume allowances, plan features, renewal periods, referral rewards, and cancellation options may differ by offer. If you purchase a subscription, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation in accordance with the plan terms shown during purchase.
7. Refunds
Refund eligibility, if any, depends on the specific product, applicable law, and the payment terms presented at purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under local law.
8. Intellectual Property
The service, including our software, branding, design, and original site content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service.
9. Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate with third-party providers for authentication, payments, analytics, email delivery, cloud hosting, and AI processing. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, or used the platform abusively. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for obtaining employment or legal, tax, HR, or professional outcomes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service. Where local law does not allow a limitation, our liability is limited only to the extent permitted there.
13. Consumer Rights and Mandatory Local Law
These Terms apply globally, but some jurisdictions give users rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract. If mandatory local law gives you additional protections, those protections continue to apply and control over any conflicting term here.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice inside the product or by email when appropriate.
